Forbes: Disney Infinity 3.0 returns with a high value starter pack that makes a great start with the Star Wars franchise. Although the toys fail to innovate as well as its competitors, the improved combat, enhanced game creation in the Toy Box and more cross-over characters make this a highly enjoyable video-game. Its easy to by cynical about highly profitable games from large companies. However, Disney Infinity has been a valuable and positive part of my familys leisure time over the last few years. Whether revisiting favorite films in the play sets or inventing our own adventures in the game creator toy box, we all get involved.

WP: In a lot of ways, Disney Infinity is the sort of thing I'd dream about as a kid. It was fun to see various characters cross over and have adventures, but in Disney Infinity, you can have Donald Duck fighting alongside Thor while Spider-Man hangs out with Aladdin. Nothing quite compares to this year because Disney Infinity 3.0 throws Star Wars into the mix. The idea of a game where the various Star Wars characters can cross over is enough to get plenty of kids (and some adults) excited. Add in the huge cast of Disney Infinity characters, and it's easy to see why Disney Infinity 3.0 isn't trying to rock the boat. When you can bring Darth Vader to the table, you already have people's attention.

GT: 2 years and more than 100 figures have passed since Disney started their lucrative toys-to-life venture, Infinity. For its third major installment the franchise is traveling to the galaxy everyones talking about this year: Star Wars. Almost every aspect of the game has been improved, and the source material has been treated in a way that fans will appreciate, but is it enough to bring in new customers that arent sold on the idea already?

DTOID: It's only been two years since the release of the first Disney Infinity, which managed to become a massive hit before venturing into Marvel territory in the second game. Now, Disney has tapped the Star Wars market, and its monolithic influence is set to destroy the wallets of parents everywhere. This would be a bigger problem if the games weren't all that great, but thankfully, Disney Infinity 3.0 maintains the same level of quality as the last entry, with a few minor iterations.
